I've been burnt by Network Marketing

It's no secret that during times of economic downturns Network Marketing takes off and these crazy happy people seem to be every where; telling you how great it is and how easy it is.  Yet, you don't seem to have their luck.

That's because THEY'RE ALL LYING.  Yup, you heard me. They are all lying. Sad but true.

The truth is Network Marketing is extremely hard. It takes persistence, determination, focus, self-confidence and a sense of self-worth to make it.  So if you're not making it then you lack one, or all, of the above.

I've been burnt by MLM

And so what!!!

I'm guessing up to now you've always had a great job, with no let downs. Great relationships that never failed or have never felt betrayed at least once in your life. Network Marketing is not a UFO. It was created on Planet Earth and that means there's gonna be some burning. So put on your mittens and go again.

I just don't have the time

Another silly excuse.  If your boss said he needed you to put in some extra time to get a promotion I bet you'd find it.  Just be honest, say you don't want to.  No one will take offence. TRUST ME. No one cares whether or not you join their team.  The person that benefits most is YOU.  So let's get that myth cleared up right now. YOU BENEFIT THE MOST.

I'm not good at sales

If someone tells you that Network Marketing is not selling, again, THEY ARE LYING.

What you don't realise though is that you sell without even knowing.  You sell yourself everyday. You tell your friends to go check out a good movie or you convince your kids to do something that's good for them.  Reality Check....that's selling.  Don't be fooled, just cuz you're not knocking on doors or doing cold calls doesn't mean you're not selling.

And FYI....not being good at something is a horrible, really weak excuse. GO LEARN HOW TO BE GOOD AT IT. It's all about self-improvement.

At the end of the day, I can come up with a thousand ways to combat your thousand excuses. Let's both save each other some time.  It's either you want a better life or not.  If you're happy and never complain about waking up early in the morning, then great.  If you can take as many vacation days as you'd like or have enough money to enjoy the vacation days then you're a winner.  If you're fine with adjusting extra curricular activities around your job, then I'm genuinely happy for you.

If, however, you're among the tiny minority that want more out of life then I'd say you should put your fears, doubts and excuses aside and give Network Marketing a chance. Choose a company who has a product range that you can be passionate about, one that you'd use. Choose an up-line that you can get along with and one that will actually help you.  Both are necessary because while I love a good lime, we're still in it to make money and on the flip side, life's too short to be around people you can't stand. 

I know this was a bit harsh but sometimes the best love is tough love and someone's gotta say it.

So from my heart to yours
